A fascinating polished Volcanic Agate sphere with dramatic natural patterning in smoky black, grey, cream and translucent tones. Areas of chalcedony and agate create beautiful flowing formations, while small quartz-rich sections add texture and depth within the stone.
One particularly interesting feature is that parts of the sphere show natural fluorescence under UV light, revealing details and colour variations that are not visible in ordinary light. This fluorescence is caused by naturally occurring trace elements or mineral inclusions within the material.
Each angle reveals a completely different landscape, from translucent agate windows and dark orb-like formations to intricate mineral layers.
