The front has been polished to reveal broad areas of intense blue, turquoise, green and golden labradorescence, shifting dramatically as the light and viewing angle change.
The reverse has been left completely raw, preserving the natural texture of the stone. Remarkably, strong flashes are also visible across the unpolished side – making this a beautiful specimen to appreciate from multiple angles.
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral famous for labradorescence, an optical phenomenon created when light interacts with microscopic internal layers within the crystal. Madagascar is particularly known for producing large, high-quality Labradorite specimens with spectacular colour play.
