A beautiful natural Sunstone with an extraordinary concentration of sparkling inclusions that come alive as the piece moves in the light. The warm coppery-red body is filled with countless reflective particles, creating the characteristic phenomenon known as aventurescence.
Geologically, Sunstone belongs to the feldspar group. Its distinctive shimmer is produced by tiny naturally occurring mineral inclusions—commonly copper or hematite depending on the variety—which reflect light from within the feldspar. Because these inclusions occur in different orientations and concentrations, the sparkle changes dramatically with the viewing angle.
This is a completely natural stone; its colour and shimmering inclusions have not been artificially added.
In crystal healing, Sunstone is traditionally associated with vitality, optimism, confidence and personal power. It is often considered a stone of abundance and positive energy, encouraging independence, motivation and a brighter outlook.
