A beautiful polished tower carved from natural Blue Rose Quartz, a less common variety of rose quartz distinguished by its cool, subtly bluish-lavender tone. Rather than the warmer pink normally associated with rose quartz, this material can appear soft grey-blue, lilac or pale pink depending on the light.
Geologically, Blue Rose Quartz is quartz whose unusual colour and slightly cloudy appearance are associated with microscopic mineral inclusions within the stone. These extremely fine inclusions (often dumortierite) scatter light through the quartz, creating its characteristic cool, ethereal coloration. Natural internal veils, fractures and subtle variations are part of the mineral’s formation and make every piece unique.
The tower has been polished and shaped to reveal the translucency and internal structure of the quartz while preserving the natural variations within the material.
